The Farm Named Tops for Food
The Farm at Cape Kidnappers has been named the best hotel for food in Australasia & South Pacific, New Zealand, by Conde Nast Traveller, UK, in its 2012 Gold List., The World’s Best Hotels.
Located in the Hawke’s Bay area of New Zealand ‘s North Island, The Farm is also known for its spectacular and challenging Tom Doak-designed golf course. X-factor Group chef Dale Gartland and head chef Tim Pickering grow much of the produce they serve in their own vegetable garden. Sited on a 6,000-acre working sheep and cattle farm overlooking the sea and surrounded by choice vineyards, prime lamb, beef and seafood are readily available to go with the excellent wine list.
The 22-suite luxury resort features a pool, spa and creative farm chic decor. Nearby is the world’s largest accessible gannet colony.
